Welcome
Our courses are in line with the EHEA and the Bologna Process. With the Bologna Process, launched in 1999, the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) was created and symbolically inaugurated in March 2010. The overriding objective of the reform is to promote mobility and to strengthen the competitiveness of the European educational area. The pillars of the Bologna Process are the cycle system (bachelor, master and doctorate), the ECTS credit system, collaboration on quality assurance and the introduction of national qualification frameworks. Switzerland, as one of the very first signatory states, has implemented the reform quickly. At present, until the recognition process for accreditation at the SEFRI has been completed, all qualifications awarded are valid in private, professional and competitive contexts, but not for continuing studies at other universities or state examinations for regulated professions.
